About NEED (Natural Education for Ecological Development)

Area of Focus

• To bring the tribal children to the mainstream of education by solving the learning disability Problem
• To study various natural resources in the region
• To provide the platform for completion of formal education up to 10th standard
• To enhance the abilities among the students by providing vocational and other Skill development training

Program / Activities

• 1 Month camp in near about 50 villages

Impact

• NEED has been able to provide formal education to 1743 tribal children of 50 villages speaking Kolam language who had difficulty with Marathi Medium of instruction
• Where only 30% students used to reach up to the 10th class, now 95% students appear for the 10th class examination
